WORCESTER Warriors have rung the changes for tonight’s B&I Cup semi-final against Leinster A at Sixways (7.45pm).

With a place in the final at stake, head coach Carl Hogg has made 14 changes to the starting 15 which beat Plymouth Albion last weekend.

A pacey back-three sees academy youngster Perry Humphreys at full-back with Sam Smith and Tom Biggs occupying the wings.

In the centre, Fiji international Ravai Fatiaki links up with Alex Grove while Tiff Eden starts at stand-off, with JB Bruzulier captaining the side at scrum-half.

In the pack, Ofa Fainga’anuku, Ben Sowrey and Joe Rees start in the front-row with the experience of James Percival and Dan Sanderson in the second-row.

Matt Cox makes his first start since the beginning of December due to injury with Mat Gilbert and England Sevens star Richard de Carpentier in the back-row.

Hogg said: “Leinster are a very good side who have been coached well. They’re an inventive side and they play with lots of ambition and pace.

“They cause threat all over the field so we’ll need to be at our very best on Friday night.

“We know we need to get the basic elements of the game intact to give ourselves a performance that will be worthy of a victory.

“We’ve always wanted to create an element of competition. This is a team which reached the Aviva A League final and was able to beat Munster home and away.

“This group has developed a team ethos and that’s credit to them.”

Warriors’ side to face Leinster A:

Humphreys, Smith, Grove, Fatiaki, Biggs, Eden, Bruzulier (C), Fainga’anuku, Sowrey, Rees, Percival, Sanderson, Cox, Gilbert, De Carpentier

Replacements: George, Bower, Daniels, Taylor, Arr, Symons, Hammond
