WARRIORS couldn’t have been given a tougher start to this year’s European Challenge Cup campaign.
I think most clubs would jump at the chance to travel to Italy or the South of France rather than a trip to chilly Moscow.
And conditions aside, the Russians won’t be a banana skin – they beat Newcastle last year and are very strong on home soil (even if the ‘home soil’ of Moscow is actually further away from their hometown in Siberia than Moscow is to Worcester!).
All in all, it’s been a fixture that’s built a lot of interest since it was announced.
But was does backs coach Sam Vesty make of the trip East?
And Vesty isn’t taking tomorrow’s opponents lightly..
