VALKYRIES’ Kelly Smith has been named in England Women’s under-20s squad to take on Canada in a three-game series.
The impressive full-back, who has represented her country at under-20 level three times, will be among 26 players to face Canada at Nottingham Trent College on Thursday, Monday and next Friday. Games will kick-off at 5.30pm.
The Hartpury University player is currently at a two-week training camp with the national squad.
Head coach Jo Yapp said: “We had a very successful three-day camp at RAF Cosford with the squad last month and these two weeks together will provide the players with a further opportunity to train and play in an international team environment.”
