FURTHER details have been released for Worcester City’s FA Cup second round tie at Scunthorpe United.
As reported yesterday (Thursday) City will head to North Lincolnshire on Sunday, December 7, for a 2pm kick off which will once again be shown on BBC1’s Football Focus FA Cup Special, as their historic 2-1 victory at Coventry was.
The Football Association released details on Wednesday (November 12) and despite not being picked for the big screen, the Blue and Whites will be among eight games to feature on the programme.
Ticket details have now also been released today (Friday) by the Iron, with Worcester given an initial allocation of 1,600.
These tickets will be on sale in the Aggborough Suite between 1.45pm and 2.45pm immediately prior to, and after, tomorrow’s (Saturday) home game with Leamington.
Season ticket holders will be able to secure two tickets if they produce the Cup Voucher No. 1 from their booklet, but all other supporters will be entitled to one ticket per person.
Anyone with a voucher who is unable to redeem it at the game with the Brakes will have until 5pm next Wednesday (November 19) to do so.
Payment on Saturday will be cash only.
Remaining tickets will then go on general sale from Thursday (November 20) and can be bought via the club website or from the Tourist Information Centre next to the Guildhall. The club have also said to take identification with you as it may be required on the turnstiles.
As with the Coventry tie, coach travel will once again leave from the Croft Road car park between 8.45am and 9am on the day. Anyone travelling with the club must buy a coach ticket in advance as there will be no pay on the day.
They can be bought from the same outlets as match-day tickets, bar the club website.
Tickets for the match are priced at £12 for adults, £6 for over 60s, £6 for students and 16-21 and £2 for under 16s.
Coach travel is £20 for adults and £12 for under 16s.
