Team News: Stringer to start against Birmingham Moseley

Aaron Wise 17th Aug, 2017 Updated: 17th Aug, 2017

VETERAN scrum-half Peter Stringer will make his first start for Warriors when they take on Birmingham Moseley at Billesley Common tomorrow night (kick-off 7.30pm).

The Ireland international forms the half-back combination with fellow new boy Sam Olver, who is set to take on his former club.

Warriors also include Josh Adams, Perry Humphreys and Tom Howe in the back three, whilst last weekend’s hat-trick hero Dean Hammond starts in midfield alongside academy centre Will Butler.

The front row sees Ryan Bower and Biyi Alo line up alongside hooker Matti Williams, who bagged a brace of tries against Hartpury, while Darren Barry and Christian Scotland-Williamson start in the second row.

GJ van Velze skippers the side from the back row next to Matt Cox and Huw Taylor.
