WORCESTER Warriors have completed the signing of Uruguay international Juan Gonzalez from Penarol Rugby.
Gonzalez represented Uruguay at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Rugby Sevens, scoring tries against Fiji, France and Japan.
The 22-year-old operates at full back or on the wing and has made more than 30 appearances for Uruguay.
Gonzalez said: “I am very excited to join Worcester Warriors and be a part of this amazing club’s future.
“Moving to England means a big change for me and I am very grateful for the opportunity.
“I am looking forward to meeting the team to start training and to play at Sixways.”
Warriors head coach, Matt Everard added: “Juan has a serious amount of exciting talent.
