WORCESTER Warriors have signed powerful second row Obinna Nkwocha from Coventry Rugby.
Nkwocha impressed for Coventry during a two-season stint at Butts Park Arena.
The 22-year-old came through the Saracens academy and featured in the Premiership Rugby Cup for the capital club.
Nkwocha said: “Joining Worcester Warriors is an exciting prospect.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue challenging myself as well as learning and growing with a new group of players.
“The ambition and goals of the club are clear and I’m looking forward to help contribute towards achieving them.”
Warriors head coach, Matt Everard added: “Obinna is explosive, abrasive and powerful.
“A standout tight five forward in the Champ, Obinna is hungry to improve and has a very high ceiling.
“I have no doubt he has the mindset required to fulfil that potential.”
