WARRIORS will take on Irish giants Munster in a pre-season clash in preparation for their 2017/18 Aviva Premiership campaign.
The Sixways outfit will also face Championship side Hartpury College and National League One side Birmingham Moseley.
The club’s pre-season schedule will begin on home soil when they welcome Hartpury on Saturday, August 12.
Hartpury are preparing for their first season in the Championship after storming to the National League One title with 30 wins out of 30 matches last term.
Worcester will then travel to Billesley Common to face National League One outfit Birmingham Moseley on Friday, August 18, with the sides going head-to-head for the first time since Warriors won promotion from the Championship in 2015.
Preparations for the new season will then conclude with the visit of Guinness PRO 12 side Munster on Thursday, August 24, in a match that could see Worcester lock
Donncha O’Callaghan line up against his former club for the first time since moving to Sixways two years ago.
O’Callaghan spent 17 years with Munster and his 263 appearances for the province is still an all-time club record.
Warriors director of rugby Gary Gold said: “Playing sides from different levels provides us with some considerably different challenges. We want to be in the best shape possible heading into the new season and these games will give a whole host of players the chance to test themselves.”
Warriors’ Aviva Premiership fixtures for the 2017/18 season will be released on Friday, July 7 with the season kicking off on Saturday, September 2.
