-More on try – Gilbert who has been in superb form for Worcester, spots a gap in Bedford’s defence and takes full advantage to score near the posts. Mieres slots home a simple conversion.

More on try – Another well-control catch and drive sees Gilbert over for his second try of the evening and Worcester’s fifth. Lamb adds the extras and is replaced as Ignacio Mieres enters the field.

More on try – Skipper GJ Van Velze finishes off a superb move which began with a powerful run up-field from prop Mike Daniels. Stelling and Howard then combined before the latter found Van Velze who crashed over.

HALF TIME SUMMARY – Early tries from Tom Biggs and Mat Gilberts give Warriors the lead at the interval. But Bedford Blues are certainly no pushovers as they came back with a try from Joe Vandermolen and caused a few problems for the hosts’ defence.

-33min – After a slow start, Blues are certainly showing signs of making a match of this as Mike Howard snatches a Warriors lineout, which keeps his side on the front foot.

-More on try – Scrum half Darryl Veenedaal brushes past Max Stelling before finding Joe Vandermolen to simply touch down. Some soft tackles going in from Worcester.

Director of rugby Dean Ryan has made eight changes to the side which thrashed Moseley in the British & Irish Cup a fortnight ago.
