– Very strong second half performance from Worcester. They led at the break thanks to a Mike Symons header before Pete Boyle pulled one back at the very start of the second period for Hyde. Academy youngster Joao Sousa bagged his first goal for the club in emphatic style to restore Worcester’s lead before two goals in two minutes from Daniel Nti killed the game off against already-relegated Hyde. Thanks for following today.

FULL TIME: WORCESTER CITY 4-1 HYDE FC

4 minutes added time.

89min: Yellow card: Ng goes into the book for a foul on Deeney.

88min: Game petering out now as City cruise home to three points.

82min: Hughes with a great free-kick which skims the top of the bar for the visitors.

80min: Waldron the next to try his luck from distance but his curled effort lacked pace and was straight into the arms of the keeper.

79min: Yellow card: Nti now goes in the book for a tug of the shirt on Erike Sousa.

More on goal: It’s two in two minutes for Nti. Good move by the hosts as Denny crosses into the Hyde box, Symons wins the flick on and heads it into the path of Nti who – on the stretch – pokes it past Wilczynski.

76min: GOAL: Worcester City 4-1 Hyde FC – Daniel Nti

More on goal: Another Geddes corner is inch perfect. This time for Nti who climbs highest to flick a header home. Geddes replaced by Waldron in City’s final change.

74min: GOAL: Worcester City 3-1 Hyde FC – Daniel Nti

72min: Weir puts in a decent ball into the box which Rowe meets with his head but can’t get it on target.

Attendance: 489

69min: WOODWORK: Giverin’s superb free-kick clatters off the underside of the bar before Boyle couldn’t quite put home the rebound.

68min: Yellow card: Hibbs looked to be bursting through on goal but Charles cynically grabbed his shirt and pulled him down. Hyde adamant it should have been red.

65min: Smith looking composed at the back since he has come on.

60min: Smith does well down the left to beat a couple of Hyde men but he drags his shot past the near post.

More on goal: What a strike this is from the academy youngster. Geddes rolls the ball across the edge of the box and Sousa picks it up before unleashing a left-footed drive which flies into the top corner. Great strike. Khan brought off for Smith in the aftermath.

60min: GOAL: Worcester City 2-1 Hyde FC – Sousa

52min: Worcester looking frustrated at the early equaliser, although but Wilczynski and Pritchard both fluff their lines to present City with a corner opportunity. Delivery comes to nothing.

More on goal: Hughes did all the ground-work down the left hand side and burst into the box. He cleverly pulled the ball back to Boyle who had the simplest of tasks of tapping home.

46min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-1 Hyde FC – Boyle

– The two teams are back out here and the second half is underway.

– Not too much to shout about here at Aggborough at the break. Mike Symons header after 23 minutes – from a Sean Geddes corner – is all that separates the two at the break. Hyde have held their own but created no clear-cut chances.

HALF TIME: WORCESTER CITY 1-0 HYDE FC

45min: Denny does well to rob Pearson in the middle of the park and feed Nti, but his shot is weak and is comfortably saved.

40min: Succession of throw-ins down the right hand side as the half draws towards its end.

35min: Sousa tries an ambitious effort for the hosts but it flies well wide.

33min: SUB: Denny comes on for Taylor for Worcester.

30min: Burke takes aim for 25-yards but his shot takes a slight nick and flies past the post.

25min: Giverin makes a burst forward for the visitors and flashes an effort just past the post as they look for an immediate response.

More on goal: The resulting corner was taken by Geddes who picked out Symons perfectly to power a header home for his tenth of the season.

23min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-0 Hyde FC – Mike Symons

23min: Taylor now bursts through the Hyde defence but is stopped in the box by a good challenge from Ng.

21min: Eventful opening for Taylor, it must be said, but still no clear cut chances to note so far.

18min: Yellow card: Taylor goes in the book for a late challenge on Pritchard.

15min: Geddes drifts a corner right under the keeper and Taylor flicks a header just past the post.

13min: Scrappy opening to the game with Taylor putting his body about the place but conceding a number of free kicks early on.

9min: First effort of the game as Giverin’s free-kick isn’t dealt with by the Worcester City defence and the ball eventually fell to Ng whose scuffed strike was straight at Vaughan.

8min: Quiet opening here at Aggborough as Taylor and Ng clash. Referee Anthony Tankard deals with the situation.

3min: Great cross-field ball by Charles finds Geddes in acres of space on the right, however the midfielders pull-back evades every Worcester man in the box and Hyde clear the danger.

1min: City get us underway in their traditional blue and white kicking from left to right. Hyde playing in their reversed colours of red tops and black shorts.

KICK OFF

– The teams are out and we are about ready for kick off.

– A very sunny Aggborough here today as both sets of players head in from the warm-up. Less than ten to go until we get underway here.

– Carl Heeley makes four changes to the side which was held 1-1 against Brackley in midweek. There is a double change at the back as Anthony Charles and Shab Khan – making his first appearance since his six game ban – come in for Kyle Haynes and Rob Elvins, who are both missing from the squad. Jay Denny and Tristian Dunkley also both drop to the bench and are replaced by Michael Taylor and Sean Geddes. Youngster Joao Sousa makes his third successive start for the Blue and Whites.

Here are today’s teams:

Worcester City: Nathan Vaughan; Tyler Weir, Shab Khan, Anthony Charles, Jacob Rowe;  Michael Taylor, Daniel Nti, Ellis Deeney (C), Sean Geddes, Joao Sousa; Mike Symons SUBS: Jay Denny, Tristian Dunkley, Dean Waldron, Jamie Smith, Jose Veiga.

Hyde FC: Ed Wilczynski; James Burke, Kieran Burrywood, Jack Pritchard, Perry Ng, Erike Sousa, Luke Giverin, Andy Pearson (C), Pete Boyle, Jake Hibbs, Connor Hughes SUBS: Josh Brizell, Lee Gregory, George Riley, Adam Thurston

Referee: Anthony Tankard

– If City are to better their points tally of the 2011/12 season – 65 – they will need to win each of their last four remaining fixtures. Currently on 54 points, only a maximum 12-point return will see them leapfrog the 65 mark.

– Welcome to Aggborough, the temporary home of the Blue and Whites, where Carl Heeley’s men will be looking to secure themselves three points against already-relegated Hyde FC. To see our preview ahead of today’s game, click here.
