LIVE updates from our man at Aggborough, Jonny Bonell, where Worcester City are in Vanarama Conference North action against Gainsborough Trinity.

The live update has now finished.

– All over at Aggborough as two goals almost 90 minutes apart bring the three points for Worcester. Tristan Dunkley, who was a threat all afternoon, opened the scoring after three minutes before substitute Micah Evans tapped home in stoppage time to make the result safe. The win sees the hosts move up to tenth. Thanks for following today.

FULL-TIME: WORCESTER CITY 2-0 GAINSBOROUGH TRINITY

More on goal: Dunkley again pulling the strings as he bursts down the left, he pulls the ball back to Nti whose effort is well saved by Watson but the follow-up falls straight to Evans who taps home into an empty net.

90+2min: GOAL: Worcester City 2-0 Gainsborough Trinity – Micah Evans

90+1min: SUB: Davis comes on for Roma in the visitors final change.

3 minutes added time

89min: Couple of Gainsborough fans losing their patience with their sides passing. Both sides have been guilty of quite a poor second half, in truth.

85min: Closest Gainsborough have come as substitute Watson fires an effort which goes right across the face of goal and just past the post.

83min: Yellow card: Picton goes into the book for the visitors for an off the ball incident with Dunkley.

81min: A lot of poor passing from both sides in the second half here.

77min: City come so close to adding a second as a quick throw out from Boot finds Nti, he flicks the ball to Geddes to feeds Dunkley, the winger bursts into the box and tries to square across to Nti but the ball rolls across the six yard box and doesn’t find the finishing touch.

75min: SUB: Watson comes on for Gainsborough in place of Yates in the visitors second change.

71min: Nti does well on the edge of the box to roll his man and drill an effort just over the top. Forrest comes off for Brogan in Gainsborough’s first change.

67min: SUB: Micah Evans comes on for Dean Waldron in City’s first change on the game.

64min: It is Geddes who takes it but he curls his effort wide.

63min: Waldron makes a good burst through the midfield and is bundled to the floor by Byrne. Decent distance as Geddes and Deeney stand over the ball.

60min: Good move by Worcester as Deeney drills a cross-field ball to Dunkley, he chests it into the path of Geddes who dips a volley wide of the post.

58min: City looking lively in the second period but still no clear-cut chances as Nti is flagged once more for offside.

53min: Geddes whips a dangerous ball into the box which bounces just in front of Watson but the keeper does well to get his body behind the ball.

Attendance: 518

51min: Gainsborough come closest to opening the score as Russsell sets up a cross to the back post which Yates heads back across goal and it just loops past the post.

50min: Slow start to the second half here, no chances to note in the opening five minutes.

The two teams are back out and the second half is underway.

– A quick-fire start from the hosts see them 1-0 up here at the break Tristan Dunkley’s effort three minutes in is the difference so far but the winger has had an effort cleared off the line and Daniel Nti has also seen a goal disallowed for offside. Gainsborough have offered little going forward in the first 45.

HALF TIME: WORCESTER CITY 1-0 GAINSBOROUGH TRINITY

45+1min: Geddes goes close again as he fires a shot past the post after good link up play with Nti and Deeney.

2 minutes added time.

44min: Decent end to the half from Worcester as Geddes comes close with another cross-come-shot which flies just past the far post.

44min: Nti aggrieved with the linesman as he feels he has been fouled but several Trinity players but nothing doing.

39min: DISALLOWED GOAL: Geddes splits the Trinity defence with a great ball to Nti he takes a touch and coolly slots under Watson but the flat had been raised. Very close call.

38min: Some of Brown’s clearances have been poor to say the least here today, his latest flies out of the Aggborough stadium.

34min: Penalty appeals here for Worcester as Waldron throws the ball quickly to Dunkley who turned Quinn but Byrne came in and brought down the pacey winger but referee Paul Graham deemed the ball was played first.

33min: The sun is still shining here but the wind seems to be holding the ball up with some of the clearances. Game has slowed down since the opening 15 minutes.

29min: Gainsborough are growing into this game, no clear cut chances for the visitors but have responded well to going behind early.

21min: Yates again looking dangerous down the right as he cuts in but drills an effort past Boot’s near post.

19min: Yates now has a go down the City right after a poor clearance by Lynch but his cross come shot fizzes out for a goal-kick.

18min: Picton with the first decent chance for Gainsborough as he met a Toner corner but his effort clears the top of the bar.

16min: Half-hearted appeals for a penalty from Brown as Deeney’s long throw tries to pick out the defender. Quinn seemed to be climbing all over him but nothing was given.

12min: Dunkley is causing Gainsborough all sorts of problems here as he again gets away down the right and whips in a dangerous ball which is well defended.

8min: OFF LINE: Dunkley inches away from doubling the hosts’ lead as he again reacted quickest to Geddes’ cross, took it away from his man and poked the ball under Watson but Picton was there to hack the ball off the line.

More on goal: Debutant Charles’ free-kick went deep into the Gainsborough box. The defence didn’t deal with it and the ball fell to Dunkley who hit his half-volley into the ground and off the inside of the post and in.

3min: GOAL: Worcester City 1-0 Gainsborough Trinity – Tristan Dunkley

1min: Good pace shown by Dunkley early on here as he beats Quinn for speed but his low cross is easy for Watson. Dangerous spell of possession from Gainsborough but Boot shows safe hands to keep out Yates’ cross.

0min: Gainsborough get this match underway kicking from right to left in their reverse strip of orange tops and black shorts. City in their traditional blue and white.
