WARRIORS return to Aviva Premiership action this Sunday when they make the short trip to Coventry to take on high-flying Wasps.
Gary Gold’s men put daylight between themselves and basement side Bristol a fortnight ago with a 41-24 win over the West Country outfit at Sixways.
But now they face a completely different kind of opponent in the league leaders.
If the club’s last two meetings with Wasps are anything to go by – a 62-10 defeat in the Anglo Welsh Cup and a 26-12 Premiership defeat at Sixways – then Sunday’s game should be high scoring affair.
Gold said in midweek that he had noticed Warriors’ defence has improved since his arrival, but they will need to take their performance to the next level is they are to cause an upset at the Ricoh.
What kind of game is Gold expecting on Sunday?
And following the victory over Bristol, is Gold confident his side will avoid the drop?
