Gold on the game - Saracens

Aaron Wise 28th Sep, 2017

IT JUST doesn’t get any easier for Gold and his Warriors as they go in search of their first Premiership win at the fifth time of asking against one of the Northern Hemisphere’s strongest sides.

Sarries are packed with quality players and have looked formidable this season, having picked up comprehensive wins against Sale, Newcastle and Northampton.

Warriors come into this fixture having nearly stole a shock victory at Kingsholm last Friday.

It was the club’s best performance of the campaign thus far, so does Gold feel like there were positives to take from the game?

And what has the Worcester chief made of Saracens’ rampant start to the season?

Even tighthead Biyi Alo, who has replaced the injured Nick Schonert in recent weeks, expects his former club to make Warriors’ quest for a first win as difficult as possible.

Observer reporter Aaron Wise will be at Sixways providing live coverage of the clash from 7.30pm.
