WORCESTER Raiders will swap grounds with Worcester City next season after securing a 10-year lease to play at Claines Lane.
Raiders have agreed a 10-year lease with the Worcestershire FA to use Claines Lane as their home ground from next season.
The club have played at Sixways Stadium for the last five seasons.
However, Worcester City announced they had secured a five-year lease to play at Sixways in December forcing Raiders to look for a new home.
And Raiders have now confirmed they will become tenants at Claines Lane – where City currently play their home matches.
Raiders chairman, Steve Harris said: “Since the administration process at Sixways, we have been living in uncertain times for the past two years.
“With our long-term stability now secured, we have an opportunity to focus on the future and our vision for the club at Claines Lane.”
Raiders manager, Jordan Lewis added: “It’s great to finally have this tied up and secure our future, I would like to thank all of our players for their unwavering commitment and effort – despite a little uncertainty around the club’s future over the last few months.
“Huge praise to everyone off the pitch for their hard work and continuous support towards myself and the first team.”
