WORCESTER City won 2-0 against Loughborough Students on the final day of the season to secure a fourth-place finish in the league.
Goals either side of half time from Prince Henry and Felix Miles at Claines Lane ensured City head into the play-offs on a high.
The game will likely be Worcester’s last home match at the ground before they move to Sixways Stadium next season.
Victory for Worcester saw City leapfrog Long Eaton United in the Northern Premier League Midlands table after the latter side lost at AFC Rushden and Diamonds.
It means City will travel to third-place Anstey Nomads in the play-offs with Long Eaton making the trip to runners-up Corby Town.
Against Loughborough, Worcester broke the deadlock on 19 minutes when Henry headed Elliott Hartley’s cross from the left under visiting goalkeeper Luke Skinner.
And City doubled their lead on 72 minutes when Liam Lockett’s cross from the left hit the arm of Halim Bangura and the referee pointed to the spot.
Substitute Miles duly sent Skinner the wrong way from the penalty spot, firing a shot into the left side of the goal, to seal the points.
Worcester make the trip to Anstey on Tuesday, April 29 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Cropston Road.
