WORCESTER City have joined forces with the ‘Man Up’ charity for the club’s home pre-season friendly matches.

City will host Cheltenham Town, Newport County and Kidderminster Harriers at Sixways Stadium ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

And Worcester will support men’s mental health charity ‘Man Up Gloucestershire’ at all of the club’s pre-season home games.

‘Man Up Gloucestershire’ offer weekly drop-in sessions and community peer support where men over the age of 18-years-old throughout the county can come to chat.

Worcester’s director of football, Tim Harris, and his wife Karen said: “In November of last year, our family experienced the heartbreaking loss of our son to suicide.

“During this incredibly difficult time, I want to sincerely thank all at Worcester City FC and the three clubs for organising our pre-season home programme.

“I am especially grateful to my former clubs for the kindness and support they have shown to both myself and my wife, Karen.

“We are coming together to raise funds through a matchday raffle in support of Man Up Gloucestershire.

“Each club has generously donated a signed shirt to help with this cause.”

The club will sell matchday raffle tickets to support the charity at both the Cheltenham and Newport fixtures.

The draw will take place at Dymock Cricket Club on Sunday, August 17.

Man Up will have a pop-up stand at the fixtures with supporters welcome to drop by and chat with representatives from the charity.

Worcester host Cheltenham on Saturday, July 5 with kick-off at 1.30pm at Sixways.

City then entertain Newport on Saturday, July 12 with kick-off at 3pm.

Worcester host Harriers on Tuesday, July 22 at 7.45pm.
