WORCESTER City slipped to a 2-0 defeat away at 10-man Darlaston Town to drop below their opponents in the table.
Early goals from Lewis Gill and Aaron Bishop condemned City to defeat at the Paycare Stadium with Worcester unable to find a way back into the game despite the latter seeing red before the break.
The result means Worcester sit fifth in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, below Darlaston on goal difference.
Darlaston took the lead after just nine minutes when Gill struck to break the deadlock.
And the home side doubled their lead on 24 minutes as Bishop found the net.
Bishop then received a second yellow card two minutes before the break for a challenge on Adam Mace.
Despite playing with an extra man for the entirety of the second period but were unable to find a way back into the game.
Worcester are next in action away at Wellingborough Town on Saturday, October 5 with kick-off at 3pm at the Dog and Duck Ground.
