WORCESTER City have confirmed the signing of experienced striker Dan Sweeney for the 2025/26 season.
Sweeney spent last season with City’s Southern League Premier Central rivals Alvechurch.
The 27-year-old has also played for the likes of Macclesfield, Solihull Moors, Redditch United and Bromsgrove Sporting.
Worcester manager, Chris Cornes said: “Dan is well-known in the non-league circuit and when I learned of his availability, I moved quickly to try and secure him.
“He’s had a few injury-hit seasons but he’s a natural goalscorer and his ability is undoubtedly going to help us this season.
“He’s also another player with bags of experience to go with his talent, and that will help the younger lads in the squad no end.
“I’m looking forward to working with him and, with some luck along the way, I’m hoping he can kick us on even further.”
