WORCESTER City played out a goalless draw with fellow Step Three side Malvern Town in the club’s latest pre-season outing.
Neither team could break the deadlock in a stalemate at Sixways Stadium.
The Hillsiders created the game’s first chance after Malvern debutant Jay Malshanskyj and Sam Clark combined well down the left.
And City goalkeeper Cristiano Dzialuk tipped a fierce shot from distance onto the crossbar as the ball looped off the woodwork and behind for a corner.
Worcester’s first sight of goal saw Logan Stoddart cut the ball back to a trialist who fired over the crossbar.
And Malvern’s trialist goalkeeper then held a fierce City free-kick after Zac Guinan drew a foul on the edge of the box.
The Hillsiders went close after the break as Reece King flicked a header wide from Charlie Johnson’s long throw.
And Malvern’s trialist keeper denied Brandon Smalley after the break after he raced in-behind the away defence as the game ended all square.
Worcester continue their pre-season campaign against Evesham United on Tuesday, July 14 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
