WORCESTER City will need a replay to advance in the FA Cup after drawing 1-1 with Chasetown in first round qualifying.
City took the lead courtesy of Liam Lockett’s strike just beyond the half-hour mark at Sixways Stadium.
However, Joey Butlin drew the visitors early in the second half to force a replay.
Chasetown play one level below Worcester in the Northern Premier League West division.
Worcester broke the deadlock on 32 minutes when Lockett jinked past his man in the box and lashed a shot into the roof of the net from close range.
However, the visitors equalised on 56 minutes as Butlin headed in a deflected cross from the left from five-yards out.
Worcester travel to Chasetown for the replay on Tuesday, September 2 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Scholars Ground.
