WORCESTER City claimed a convincing 3-0 win against local rivals Bromsgrove Sporting as the club secured back-to-back victories for the first time this season.
A brace from Charlie Wise and Dan Sweeney penalty, both of who once played for the Rouslers, earned the points for the home side at Sixways Stadium.
The result means Worcester sit 14th in the Southern League Premier Central table, four points clear of the relegation zone.
City took the lead against Sporting after just 11 minutes as Wise rose highest to meet Liam Lockett’s corner and put the home side in front.
And Wise repeated the trick on 37 minutes when he met Josh Bailey’s corner to double his tally for the game against his former club.
Worcester sealed the points on 57 minutes as Sweeney scored from the penalty spot after Harry Burns drew a foul in the box.
Worcester are next in action against Alvechurch in the FA Trophy on Saturday, October 25 with kick-off at 3pm at Lye Meadow.
