THE FA has confirmed a new date for Worcester City’s FA Cup replay against Walsall Wood.
The extra preliminary round replay will now take place on Tuesday, August 13 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Claines Lane.
After initially playing out a goalless draw last weekend, the two teams met in a replay at Walsall’s John Sylvester Stadium on Tuesday night.
However, after problems with the floodlights persisted into the second half, the referee abandoned the game on 50 minutes.
With the replay scheduled for next week, City have confirmed the postponement of their league game against Darlaston Town.
Originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 14, the game will now take place at a later date.
