Fan's view: Warriors failed to inspire against rivals

FOR the small band who made the trip to watch two poor teams on a miserable wet day it needed some inspiration from someone to generate some warmth and passion to the occasion.

The bad news was that it did not come from Worcester, and for the first 15 minutes of the second half London Irish found the intensity to see them through to a victory.

The drive back from Reading generated a guessing game on what the post match interview would bring.

The ā€˜Iā€™ word has been used a lot this season in the context of our improvement as we believe intensity and integrity will give us the inspiration to win.

Although, we need to find out what our strengths are so we can play to them.

We must not forget the side we played were the closest team to us in terms of league position and they have beaten us twice this season while we have achieved one bonus point.

I think the attendance of just over 5,100 for what was a must win game for both sides sums up perfectly the attitude of the supporters to the teams and the product on view.
