Fan's view: Time to look forward

REALITY set in as early as our home losses to London Irish and Newcastle Falcons and the expectation I had of a push for safety after new year never got off the ground.

So as we approach our final Premiership game of the season we can look forward to enjoying the match against Gloucester with no pressure whatsoever on both teams and the much talked about change of policy to create a new culture at the club.

I have been a season ticket holder from the old Division One games, seen us get close and fail, seen us survive in the Premiership, stood on the terrace at Leeds watching us drop to the Championship, which hurts more than this one, and then the semi-final Bedford Blues game and subsequent final to Cornish Pirates.

I am not only looking forward to next season, but the future. A  future that is unknown and one that will rely on trust and faith, which is something Worcester Warriors supporters are used to.

Next year will not be easy. Yes, there will be games done and dusted by 40 minutes and others where the opposition will treat our game as a cup final.

I am one of the unusual supporters who have seen them win three games this year so I will enjoy win number four on Saturday and look onwards and upwards to next season.

There will be great trips to spend time with knowledgeable rugby supporters and watch our team develop as they learn and grow as one team, which will set the foundations for the club.
