Fan's view: Teamwork proves key in Warriors fightback

NEVER has so much been owed to one slope on a rugby field.

Before the game we reminisced how close it was the last time we were at Bedford and how Bristol just pulled off a win down there and the pitch is a leveller.

How true this was in the end with all the points scored down slope and wind.

Worcester created chances in the first half but could not execute and in the end we provided Bedford with their opportunities.  Their fans at half time stated that was the best they had played this season but a 17-point difference was not enough.

The best knowledge is local knowledge and at the final whistle the scoreboard backed this up.

For Worcester I feel this is another good learning curve and to come back and win was only achieved by something we lacked for the majority of last season – teamwork.

Worcester did not crumble and did a professional job to come back with 32 unanswered points.

If I was the supporter of another club I would look at this and realise they are facing a team that will play for each other and never stop.

Dean Ryan stated teams do not know what game we will play, but what they will know is we do not give up and we are a team.
