Fan's view: A glowing half-term report

Worcester Editorial 22nd Jan, 2015 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

IN MY last piece I looked forward to the trips to London Scottish and Yorkshire Carnegie. Both ended in bonus point wins and both showed the potential pitfalls that await if we are not on our game.

Having just returned from the Moseley trip with another bonus point win I was wondering if there have ever been two stronger sides going toe to toe towards the play-offs.

It seems Bristol may continue to recruit this year whereas Worcester are using the core team to grow and progress.

Who is right and who is wrong will not be decided by the results this season. It will be decided over the next few years to see how both teams move forward and sustain a position of strength in the Premiership and be a club where players want to move to enhance careers and not finish them.

My half-term report: Our A League form and making the final compared to last year – ten out of ten.

Growing as a team and not as individuals – ten out of ten.

And finally, the fact I am smiling, enjoying meeting dedicated rugby supporters and looking forward – ten out of ten.

Who knows by the time I write my next article we could be British & Irish Cup semi-finalists.
