DEFENCE coach Simon Cross will oversee Warriors’ first-team in this season’s Anglo-Welsh Cup, starting with the visit of Bristol under the Sixways floodlights tomorrow night.
The tournament will be used to blood a lot of younger players and to help ease players returning to action from injury, just like the European Challenge Cup.
But despite not seeing Warriors’ strongest out on the pitch, the game will still have that extra bit of spice, purely because of the opposition.
Warriors pipped Bristol in the Championship play-off final last summer to return to the Premiership. Revenge comes to mind..
So what experienced players can we expect to see?
And what does Cross think of Bristol’s team line-up?
Observer reporter Aaron Wise will be at Sixways tomorrow night to provide live coverage of all the action from 7.45pm.
