YOUNG Worcestershire CCC star Isaac Mohammed will miss the upcoming ICC under-19 cricket World Cup after sustaining a fractured thumb.
The 17-year-old suffered a fracture to his left thumb after being hit by the ball during a practice session.
The Young Lions batter has now been forced to withdraw from the England squad.
His place in the 15-player squad has been taken by Yorkshire all-rounder Will Bennison.
England play their first game at the World Cup in Zimbabwe against Pakistan on Friday, January 16.
