WORCESTERSHIRE CCC have cancelled their pre-season tour of Oman due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The Pears had planned a tour of Oman in preparation for the upcoming County Championship season.
However, the club have now put ‘alternative plans’ in place with the Pears to remain at home in the United Kingdom.
A club statement said: “The safety and wellbeing of our players and staff is paramount, and this decision has been taken following a careful review of the current situation.
“Alternative plans are now in place, with the club set to undertake an intensive pre-season training programme in the UK ahead of the new season.
“The club will provide further updates in due course.”
