WORCESTER City will play their mouth-watering FA Cup tie with former winners Coventry City on Sunday, November 9, it has been confirmed.
The Football Association released details today (Thursday) of the televised games and despite not being picked for the big screen, The Blue and Whites trip to the Ricoh Arena has been moved to the Sunday with a 2pm kick-off.
Ticket prices for the encounter against the 1987 winners have been reduced to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and juniors.
City will also be providing coach travel to and from the game. They will leave from Croft Road car park in the city centre and will cost £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s. Times are still to be determined.
It is anticipated match-day tickets will be available for sale from the start of next week (November 3) and can be purchased from the Tourist Information Centre next to the Guildhall.
They can also be bought via the club’s online shop, but given the timescales involved Worcester bosses have advised anyone buying this way would need to collect tickets and they cannot guarantee receipt if posted.
It is also believed there will be a pay on the day facility. There will, however, be no pay on the day for the coach travel.
