BLESSED Edward Oldcorne Catholic College will represent the county at the West Midlands Netball Championship in January after making it through the u16 Worcestershire Tournament.
The year 11 team were in impressive form as they won a majority of their matches on the way to sealing one of the eight qualifying spots.
But the girls were unable to win seven out of seven as they lost to city rivals King’s School Worcester by four points.
The defeat left a nail-biting scenario where the tournament result had to be calculated on goals scored, which saw the school finish second behind winners Bewdley.
