WORCESTER Warriors have named their squad ahead of the club’s return to Sixways Stadium for a pre-season clash with Premiership champions Bath.

Warriors last played at Sixways in September 2022 before the club entered administration and suffered expulsion from the Premiership the following month.

And three years on, the club will finally make a return to their home ground with Matt Everard’s new-look squad to play a Bath select XV.

Bath clinched a seventh Premiership title last season with victory against Leicester Tigers at Twickenham.

Worcester marked their return to the pitch with victory against Ampthill in their first pre-season outing last weekend.

And Warriors named summer addition Matt Rogerson as the club’s new captain for the 2025/26 campaign ahead of the Bath fixture.

He features in the back-row alongside Matt Kvesic and Tim Anstee.

James Tyas, Owain Evans, Billy Keast, Archie Vanes and Tim Hoyt complete the forward pack.

In the backs, Lloyd Williams and Tiff Eden start at scrum-half and fly-half, with Billy Twelvetrees and Tom Seabrook lining up in the centres.

The back three of Josh Bassett, Siva Naulago and full-back Louis Brown complete Worcester’s starting XV.

Everard has named an extended 13-man bench in which former Bath duo Khalik Kareem and James Short both feature.

Everard said: “At the end of the day, the fans are the heart of what we do and we really want to bring that excitement back to Sixways, bring that buzz and bring people back together again.

“Having a local rival come over and selling out the stadium at the first time of asking is incredible – I can’t thank everyone enough for their support.”

Worcester host Bath on Friday, September 19 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Sixways.
