WORCESTER City suffered a third successive pre-season defeat after losing 3-1 away at Hereford.
City found themselves two goals behind at the break as Cawley Cox and Luke Spokes both struck for the National League North side at Edgar Street.
Worcester halved the deficit courtesy of Luke Rowe early in the second half only for Danny Waldron to complete the scoring for the home side.
Hereford broke the deadlock on 29 minutes as Cox scored from the penalty spot after a trialist drew a foul in the box.
And the home side struck again six minutes later when Spokes turned home Billy Phillips’ cutback from the right.
City responded five minutes after half time as Rowe found the bottom corner following a set-piece.
However, Hereford sealed the win in injury time when Waldron lobbed the ball over City goalkeeper Cristiano Dzialuk from the right wing from distance.
Worcester continue their pre-season campaign against Weymouth on Saturday, July 25 with kick-off at 3pm at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
