WORCESTER City kept themselves in play-off contention following a goalless draw away at third-placed Real Bedford in midweek.
City have now lost just one of their last nine matches in all competitions following the stalemate at Ledger Stadium.
The result means Worcester sit eighth in the Southern League Premier Central table, three points outside of the play-off places.
Bedford went close early on as Sam Kane tipped Josh Setchell’s effort behind after the latter jinked his way towards the box.
The home side remained on top when Setchell turned his marker and saw his goalbound effort blocked.
Worcester almost broke the deadlock against the run of play shortly before half time as Ackeme Francis-Burrell slid a shot inches past the post.
Bedford spurned a golden chance to break the deadlock early in the second half when Drew Richardson hooked a shot wide after the ball broke kindly to the defender in the box.
And Conor Tee then saw his powerful shot deflect over the crossbar before Kane denied Ben Stevens late on.
Worcester are next in action against Leiston on Saturday, March 21 with kick-off at 3pm at Victory Road.
