FIVE weapons, including a ‘zombie’ style and suspected class A drugs were seized during warrants carried out by police in Worcester.
The discoveries were made when our officers carried out searches of two homes in Portefields Road and Mulberry Terrace in the early hours of Thursday (June 15)
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. Both have been bailed to return to the police station at a later date.
Sergeant Brian Simpkins from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We hope that our actions, such as this warrant yesterday, show our continued commitment to fighting illegal drugs in our local community and across the county.
“The Warndon community can help us by continuing to report any signs of criminal activity to us – the easiest way to do this is on our website.
“Any bit of information, no matter how small it may seem, could help make a big difference.”
