IT’S TIME to pass go and collect £200 in the Faithful City once again with the return of the Monopoly Worcester Edition after a 16-year absence,

The iconic board game will make a return featuring landmarks from across the city among its updated squares and Community Chest and Chance Cards.

It will boast all new packaging to set it apart from the 2007 version which included squares featuring the old Lea and Perrins factory, Worcester City’s historic St George’s Lane home and The Greyfriars on Friar Street.

Worcestershire’s New Road home and Worcester Cathedral were the highest value squares to be found.

Tim Evans from Toys and Games of Worcester revealed the return of the game which followed ‘months of hard work and negotiation’.

“We are very pleased to get this project over the line and will be releasing clues and images of the new set over the coming months,” he said.
