WORCESTER City Council is holding a free drop-in session for people to find out about the installation of the Battenhall Park pump track.

It will be held on tomorrow (Thursday June, 27) between 6pm and 8pm at St Peter’s Baptist Church in Eden Close.

Worcester City Council’s corporate director for operations, homes and communities, Lloyd Griffiths said: “The new pump track will provide a brilliant facility for children to practice their skills and socialise with friends.

“Similar facilities in other parts of Worcestershire have been a success and we are looking forward to installing this inclusive provision.

“We have listened to residents during the consultation process and have been working to alleviate their concerns.”

The pump track will be designed for users of all ages and skill levels and will be suitable for bikes, scooters, skateboards, roller blades, and adaptive bikes or wheelchairs.

In preparation for the pump track installation, the Council has recently carried out botanical and geophysical surveys, along with flood risk and noise assessments.
