A LARGE amount of cigarettes and tobacco were stolen from the Co-Op in Upton-upon-Severn last Friday.
West Mercia Police say the three thieves, who were seen fleeing from the area, have been suspected of committing thefts at other stores within the force area.
The vehicle used by the suspects was seen in the West Midlands later that evening, all three suspects fled from the vehicle and one was caught and arrested.
The 17-year-old boy held has been helping police with their enquiries.
TWO youths have been charged with burglary after being caught breaking into an address in Richmond Road, Malvern, on Saturday morning.
The youths cannot be named due to their age.
One of them was also held by Malvern Police in connection with him breaching his criminal behaviour order and was remanded into custody.
A MAN was arrested after a van was stolen from Tanhouse Lane in Malvern whilst the driver was making deliveries.
The theft happened on Saturday and the vehicle was later seen in Lower Wick, Worcester, where it was pursued by police.
The driver of the stolen van drove it onto the roundabout at the New Road junction and made off on foot.
He was closely followed by officers and was caught and arrested a short distance away.
The 27-year-old male was taken in to custody for questioning.
