CRAFTS are in the frame as Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum joins in with the city’s Victorian Fayre.
A Christmas Craft Fair is taking place at the Foregate Street gallery from November 29 to December 1 and will showcase crafts from some of the best makers in the region.
A range of jewellery, ceramics, glassware, textiles and artisan foods will be on sale, with different makers exhibiting across the three days.
Art Gallery & Museum events officer Tracey Ayre said: “We are delighted to be joining in with the Victorian Christmas Fayre by hosting a celebration of craft with many different makers on show all so talented and producing beautiful wares. It is ideal if you are looking for unique Christmas gifts, and being situated just five minutes’ walk from the High Street we hope visitors to the Victorian Fayre will come and visit us and shop for that special something.”
Visitors to the craft fair can also enjoy traditional festive music from choirs including local favourites GRVIII Men In Harmony, and Got 2 Sing. They can browse the museum shop, enjoy seasonal treats in Little Al’s Kitchen at the Balcony Cafe and the annual colourful exhibition by Worcester Society of Artists is also open.
