A DASH-CAM video of a scary near miss collision in Worcester has been shared by police in a bid to track down the dangerous driver.
The footage shows a car travelling along Pershore Lane and approaching the roundabout near to Sixways Stadium at around 11pm on Saturday (April 21).
A second car travelling in the opposite direction overtook another vehicle which caused the car with the dash-cam to swerve suddenly.
The video shows a driver overtaking on a blind hill, leading it to be heading directly towards oncoming traffic before re-entering its lane.
The footage was submitted to West Mercia Police via its Operation Snap programme, however, officers have been unable to identify the second vehicle.
Operation Snap allows members of the public to report road traffic offences recorded digitally either via their dash-cams or by other forms of journey-cam.
Sergeant Emma Breay from Worcestershire Roads Policing Team said: “We are keen to speak to the other drivers in the footage and to see any dashcam video they might have.
“Thankfully, no one was injured during this incident however the outcome could have been very different.
“If you were driving the car which was seen overtaking, we urge you to get in contact with us.”
The force are urging anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch. Email [email protected] to share information.
