ALMOST a dozen desperately needed sleeping bags have been donated to the YMCA by the Rotary Club of Worcester South.
It comes as the charity sees an increase in the number of young people who find themselves homeless and in need of accommodation and rehabilitation.
The YMCA Worcestershire, which has 78 beds in St John’s, will hand the 11 sleeping bags to people who use the shelter.
Godfrey Benson, president of Worcester South Rotary Club, said: “I am very pleased to be able to help the YMCA provide a little warmth and protection for their clients.”
