CHARITY Sight Concern are calling for people to ‘Walk the Blindfolded Mile’ on Saturday September 24.
Participants will be in pairs, with one blindfolded and the other sighted, as they tackle a route around Worcester City Centre.
Joining them will be 16-year-old visually-impaired swimmer and record breaking Paralympian Rebecca Redfern, who comes from Droitwich.
The event, which begins at 10am, is designed for those taking part to experience some of the challenges that blind and partially sighted people overcome each day.
There’s a booking fee of £10 and those taking part are asked to raise a minimum of £50.
