RESIDENTS are being asked to have their say on the development of the Sansome Walk Swimming Pool land.
Plans are well underway to replace the crumbling building with a new pool in Perdiswell with the city centre site set to be used for housing.
The planning team at Worcester City Council has produced a series of drawings for potential developers and is now looking for views on the type and number of homes the site could be used for as well as thoughts on landscaping and access roads.
Paul O’Connor, development services manager at the council, said: “With our ambitious plans to build a new swimming pool at Perdiswell progressing, it is now time to discuss the long term future of the current Sansome Walk location.
“We would welcome as much feedback as possible from local residents to help determine how this site could best be used in the future.”
The designs will be on display, along with a comment box, in the foyer of the Swimming Pool building, from Friday (February 7) until Thursday, February 20.
Drop in sessions with council staff and the area’s councillor will be held in the foyer of the Sansome Walk swimming pool at the following on Saturday (February 8) from 10am until midday, next Tuesday (February 11) from 4pm until 6pm and Saturday, February 15 from 10am until midday.
