Two people assaulted during altercation at Worcester pub

A MAN in his 60’s and a woman in her 30’s were left with minor injuries after they assaulted during an altercation at a Worcester pub.

It happened at about 9.20pm on Monday, December 19 at the Goodrest public house on Barker Street.

At around this time a number of youths who had been attending a private party at the pub are believed to have become involved in an altercation.

During the incident the pub was damaged and a car parked on the street. Two members of the public who were in the pub at the time are also reported to have been assaulted.




The man in his 60’s suffered minor injuries to his ribs and the woman in her 30’s was left with minor injuries to her arm.

Anyone who has any information relating to the incident or anybody who may have witnessed it is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident 756s of 19 December 2016.
