A SPLASH of colour will be on offer this weekend in the first 5k Colour Run to be organised by students at Christopher Whitehead Langauge College and Sixth Form.
The event is open to all ages and abilities and isn’t timed. The focus is on family fun, getting messy, getting fit and bringing the community together.
Young Minds, St Richard’s Hospice, WaterAid UK, Ronald McDonald House, Leukaemia Care and Make a Wish Foundation will benefit from the charity fund-raising taking place on Saturday (July 13) on the Slingpool Walk playing fields donated to the school by King’s School.
The event is being backed by Happy Feet Worcester, a local running group who run a ‘Couch to 5K’ programme, Youthcomm Radio and Freedom Leisure, who will be providing other fitness activities for people to enjoy.
