Theatre group prepares to dazzle

Rob George 7th Sep, 2017

WORCESTER Musical Theatre Company (WMTC) is looking to build on its 2016 success with the upcoming Razzle Dazzle show.

The group, which rehearses at Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club, is preparing to take to the Swan Theatre stage next month for six performances packed with award-winning singing and dancing.

Earlier this year, WMTC won the Best Musical Award at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association’s (NODA) West Midlands Conference for its 2016 show Walking on Sunshine.

It saw them triumph in a category that included both Worcester Operatic and Drama Society and Pershore Operatic and Drama Society. The show also raised money for the Guide Dogs charity.

Now it is keen to replicate that success with Razzle Dazzle from October 31 to November 4 – a show that will also support the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Tickets are £12 for the opening night and £14 for the rest of the run, including the Saturday matinee. They are available from the Worcester Live Box Office on 01905 611427.
