A MUCH-LOVED Worcester hospice kicked off a year of celebrations to mark its 30th birthday with a thank you to its supporters.
Acorns Hospice was opened in Birmingham in 1988 with the Worcester hospice on Bath Road following soon after.
Acorns Children’s Hospice staff and trustees began ‘30 Days of Thanking’ last week calling and recording thank you films for supporters across the region.
Chief executive Toby Porter, said: “Our supporters have been instrumental in empowering Acorns vital services over the last 30 years and enabling us now to care for more children and families than ever before.
“There are always more people who need our help that we can reach and we continue to strive to help as many of these children and families as possible but we simply couldn’t do it without your amazing support”
