AN ARRAY of colourful cakes were on sale at a city school as youngsters showed off their baking skills.
Northwick Manor Primary School held a cake sale last Friday (January 31) which saw Year One and Two children bring in a selection of home baked treats.
Fellow pupils and their parents took full advantage of the special event which raised a tasty sum of money for the school.
Assistant headteacher Sara Stanley said: “There was a huge array of cakes which were eagerly purchased by the children and parents.
“It was a very tasty way to raise funds towards our outdoor climbing equipment.”
