A tasty sum for charity

THE LONGEST running family Chinese restaurant in Worcester has raised £1,000 for three city charities.

Owners of the New Four Seasons restaurant, in Powick, held a buffet to celebrate the Chinese New Year with the proceeds being presented to Pat Agar, Mayor of Worcester, by the Worcester Chinese Association.

The money will be split between St Paul’s Hostel, Maggs Day Centre and Asha Women’s Centre.

Coun Agar said: “It was a fantastic evening, with guests coming from as far away as Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham to support the event.

“I would like to thank the restaurant and all their staff for their enormous generosity.”
