THE ORGANISERS of the city’s popular Sports Awards are on the lookout for sponsors for this year’s event.
Freedom Leisure and Sport Worcester have unveiled sponsorship packages for city businesses to support the City of Worcester Sports Awards at the University Arena on September 14.
The event will be held by the groups together with Worcester City Council to celebrate and recognise local sporting success within Worcester and spot inspiring future athletes.
One lucky businesses is being asked to spare £500 to become headline sponsor of the event while for £250 a firm can sponsor an award category.
A businesses can have their logo included on awards evening promotional material for £100.
Freedom Leisure regional development manager Hannah Cox, said: “These awards have become a highlight in the city’s calendar and really help to cement a lasting sporting legacy for the local area.”
